A replacement greenhouse cover must match the frame's shape and attachment system. Matching only the nominal length can leave doors, seams and fixing points in the wrong positions.
Make a frame record
Measure length, width and height using the supplier's method. Record roof shape, arch spacing and any protruding supports. Photograph the doors, vents and attachment points, and note the original frame model if known.
| Detail | Compatibility question |
|---|---|
| Door | Correct position, width, height and fastening direction? |
| Roof and sides | Same shape and usable dimensions as the frame? |
| Vents | Correct location and clearance from supports? |
| Fasteners | Matching sleeves, ties, clips or other specified system? |
Inspect the frame first
A new cover does not repair bent or unstable supports. Check the frame and follow the maker's maintenance instructions before fitting a replacement. Do not stretch an undersized cover over sharp or incompatible parts. Compare the documented material and intended outdoor conditions, including any seasonal removal guidance. If the original model is unknown, obtain compatibility confirmation from the measurements rather than choosing the closest-looking photograph. Keep the replacement reference so the next purchase can be matched more reliably.
