A candle holder must be designed for the candle type and size being used. A decorative ornament or attractive bowl is not automatically a safe candle support.
Match the candle and holder
Check the permitted candle diameter, height and type. Compare the base stability and the space required around the flame using the product and candle instructions. For LED candles, confirm battery access and compatibility instead.
| Detail | What to verify |
|---|---|
| Intended use | Real flame, LED candle or decoration only |
| Fit | Secure support without an improvised insert |
| Surface | Stable placement and suitable protection beneath |
| Care | Cleaning method and handling after use |
Keep display and fire safety together
Keep flames away from combustible objects, children, pets and draughts, and never leave a burning candle unattended. Follow the specific candle's burning and extinguishing instructions. Do not place a holder where someone must reach across a flame. For decorative objects without candles, compare weight, base size and mounting or support needs. Choose a display that remains stable in everyday use rather than copying a crowded styled arrangement. Material appearance alone does not establish heat resistance or suitability for an open flame.
