Intex Dustless Drywall Power Sander (AG700) is a professional drywall / plasterboard wall ceiling sander built for faster finishing with less mess. Known by many tradies as the original “Giraffe Sander” in Australia, the AG700 pairs with a compatible dust extractor to help keep airborne dust to a minimum while delivering a cleaner, flatter result.

  • 550W, 230V/50Hz power sander for Australian worksites
  • Variable speed control (650–1600 RPM no-load) for coarse sanding through to fine between-coat work
  • Multi-directional flexible sanding head stays flush to help reduce gouging and swirl marks
  • Quick-release, lockable suction connector helps prevent hose twist or accidental loosening

Dustless sanding when connected to a dust extractor

Designed to work in conjunction with a vacuum/dust extractor, the AG700 supports cleaner sanding on new builds and renovations. With tuned electronics, compatible Intex Starmix dust extractors can start automatically when the sander is switched on, helping streamline setup and workflow. Dust extractor sold separately.

Flexible head for walls and ceilings

The multi-directional, fully flexible sanding head adjusts to suit your sanding angle so the pad remains flush with the surface. This helps maximise sanding efficiency and makes it easier to achieve an even finish across broad areas.

Speed control for every stage of finishing

Use higher speeds for more aggressive stock removal and dial it back for finer applications such as in-between coat sanding. Soft start-up helps reduce the risk of marking the surface on start, while electronics help maintain a steadier speed as pressure is applied.

Comfort-focused handling

Built for extended use, the AG700 features a soft grip handle and a cushioned guide tube for controlled steering. For extra comfort during ceiling work, a multi-positional D-handle is available (optional accessory).

All of our products are covered by a 12-month warranty, starting from the date of purchase.
