The Baumr-AG PBS20 Cold Cut Portable Bandsaw is an innovative and powerful solution with its 2-in-1 design, 1100W Pure Copper Motor and Direct Drive gearing. It’s ready for the rigours of portable use with a tough cast aluminium body and rugged rubbed edges.

At a manageable weight of 7kg and with adjustable front handle, the PBS20 Portable Saw allows you to work with minimal fatigue as you make fast, square cuts that are unbelievably neat – you can finally say goodbye to that arduous task of cleaning up messy plasma cut edges!

A deep throat accommodates working with workpieces of up to a large 127mm width and height, in the handheld configuration. With 6 speed operation the blade will cut through a wide range of materials including cast iron, aluminum, copper, woods and rubber; and replacement blades are readily available from Australian retailers. You’ll also appreciate features such as the tool-free blade tensioner, and the guidance light that ensures pencil markings are visible in any conditions.

The clever 2-in-1 design includes a benchtop stand which enables you to perform the functions of a Metal Cut-off saw. Workpieces are easily secured in the quick-adjust vice clamp, and precise cuts including mitres can be made using the onboard scale. As an added benefit, unlike a traditional chop saw the Baumr-AG slices through metal with no sparks, and is cool to touch after the cut!
